Samara

What a sweet little town this is. We are on the pacific coast staying with friends of ours. Their house is beautiful! The girls are enjoying just hanging around, Making lots of fresh fruit smoothies and swimming everyday by at least 9:00am. The sun comes up around 6:00, so does the rest of Costa Rica it seems. The monkeys (mono) also get up early and are so entertaining to watch. Lots of little babies swinging around. Otherwise, nothing really exciting to report. We are staring to prepare our selves for the return trip home. We have just over a week left. The days are going by faster and faster it seems.
We did manage to get a Christmas tree together for the kids. We painted palm nuts and sea shells to hang. It's been interesting how little it feels like the holiday season when it's so warm??
We have made Friends with a great local guy named Afro. He doesn't speak any english, but is great with helping us understand spanish, and we seem to end up hysterically laughing by the end of any conversation. He is a great fisherman, and brought us 8 lobsters and a huge fillet of tuna. That will be dinner tonight! We are going fishing with him on Saturday. Yumm.
There is a huge festival that happens the day after Christmas in town. The main attraction is Bull riding! It sounds like it's teh event of the year here!
That's all for now. Samara is by far the nicest place we've been so far. It's been a great place to land for the week.
Merry Christmas. Feliz Navidad!!!!
xoxo
